The Biggest Night In Latin Music: The 17th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards

TrendingLatinos Dijo Presente @ The 17th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards, which were held on November 17, 2016 at the T-Mobile Arena  in Las Vegas.

The three-hour celebration of Latin music and its top performers was hosted by actress Roselyn Sánchez and actor Sebastián Rulli. The awards show was broadcast LIVE on Univision, boosting the Spanish-language network’s ratings, landing them in third place during primetime, behind NBC and ABC, with over three million total viewers, according to Nielsen.

This year, Latin music’s biggest night featured performances by some of our favorite trendinglatino artists, including Carlos Vives, Juanes, Jesse & Joy, Wisin, Yandel – no pun intended- and Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, among others.

One of the biggest highlights of the night was Jennifer Lopez and ex-husband Marc Anthony performance of their new duet “Olvídame Y Pega La Vuelta,” a remake of the all-time classic 1984 song made popular by Argentinian duet Pimpinela. Once the dynamic duo finished their extraordinary performance, Jennifer handed Marc Anthony the Person of the Year award, leaving the crowd feeling their chemistry on stage and shouting ¡Beso, Beso, Beso! – prompting an amazing shower of words by ex JLo and the much talked about kiss on lips by the pair. In case you missed Marc’s POTY-Award presentation y por supuesto El Trending BESO de los #LatinGrammys, we’ve got you covered:

Despite rumors of separation from current wife Adrianna de Lima after the much talked about kiss, sources say Marc Anthony and wife have been separated for two months now- hmmmm…sips cafecito.
